My little elf. ❤️💚❤️💚❤️ (He’s so heavy I was dying taking this picture!)
Felt amazing to get back out there and PLAY! It wasn’t the best start, but it was a start. Definitely have a lot of work to do, but I am feeling up for the challenge. I am SO grateful to even have the chance to play here at the #LasVegas 4⭐️. If it wasn’t for @taylor_pischke I literally wouldn’t be here, she has been such an awesome teammate, I am a lucky girl. My parents, thank you for being the ultimate grandparents, you guys made this happen by taking on Max-duty like pros! John, as always you have my back and keep me believing in myself, even when it’s hard sometimes. Max- it’s all for you buddy. Maybe next time stay awake for my matches okay, thanks for caring. 😉❤️ #p1440@mamavaljazz@lennyvaljas@shootermay
What a thrill it was getting to watch you race @erinmielzynski!! I know you wanted more, but you should be nothing but proud of your hard work and determination to keep bettering yourself. Thank you for giving Canada something awesome to cheer for! You really are an inspiration! 🇨🇦👊 #Repost@erinmielzynski (@get_repost)
I am hugely disappointed today, but at the same time, I am immensely proud. .
First run I came out of the start with heart and bravery. I was in 10th at the 2nd interval. At the 3rd interval I made a costly mistake before the flats. I ended up 22nd for the run. In a split second I made a mistake that put me far behind the leaders and I am disappointed. .
However, on the 2nd run I put that behind me. I promised myself that I would fight well, I would be brave and I would try to inspire. I am proud of myself for overcoming my disappointment, for skiing with heart and for not backing down. I had the 3rd fastest time on the second run and placed 11th today in the Olympic Games. .
I wanted more. I trained for more, but I put it all on the line today and I’m proud of that. Thank you to everyone who stayed up to watch. Thank you for the love and belief no matter what. Thank you Canada 🇨🇦! #truenorth#strongandfree 📷: @gepapictures
